Marysville, WA Visit

We just got back from a great visit to Jason's family in Marysville, WA. The purpose of the visit was to attend the Lee Family Reunion. It was a great day, of course, for mingling and seeing family we haven't seen in awhile (as we missed the last reunion or two), and so it was nice to reconnect with some family. We were also able to introduce Madison to people she'd never met before.
Also on this trip, we were able to get up north to do some hiking and fishing. Jason had been itching for a good fishing trip for quite some time and so he was very excited to have gotten that opportunity. He even caught a 22-inch dolly varden trout, which they cooked up for dinner!!
I hope the family doesn't mind, but I'm just going to post some pics of the kids in the pool and some others of the girls from our trip while we visited with Jason's parents. The whole way home, Hannah insisted she was not going home, but she needed to go back to grandma and grandpa's....even kept repeating, "I miss grandma and grandpa." I guess all those hugs and loves and popsicles and playing in the pool kept her pretty happy!!
Madison just got on the floaty.

Everyone spent a nice "cooler" evening outside by the pool. The Seattle area reached record-breaking heat temperatures the whole week we were there, so the pool was a very welcome activity!

My cute water baby.

Uncle Pat, Madison, and Hannah.

Hannah spinning around on her floaty in the background, with Jason and Madison playing.

Madison makes this piggy face and this is what they were doing here.

Madi and her many faces! (her piggy face)

Grandpa Ken, Madison, Uncle Pat, and Hannah.

Grandma Sharon and Hannah....and Jason's big 'ole head. ha ha Hannah thinks she's big stuff being able to touch the bottom of the pool. Each day some water would evaporate, she could reach just a little bit better.

A nice one of Hannah, Jason, and Madison.

Lounging!

The little swimmers. They are such water babies!

Madi, kicking away and flapping her arms....

More floating around to keep cool.

Madison playing with foam numbers....Jason stuck this one to her forehead.

You get stepped on if you're in the walkway....though she doesn't seem to mind!

Aunt Debbei and Hannah painting a picture.

Concentrating on the painting.

Smiley.

Hannah has passed down her addiction to popsicles to her sister, who now squeals if you share some and don't give her her own!

The last night we were in town, Hannah had a sleepover with Grandma in the pop-up tent. It was much cooler outside and easier to keep cool without having AC...she did well and had fun sleeping under the stars!
