We didn't do much of anything out of the ordinary for Hannah, as we did a mini party for her on the Columbia River. However, we had Jason's brother Josh, and his family (Dani, Lorissa, and Michael) over for dinner so that Hannah could have some fun. We had Jason's delicious chicken fetteccine alfredo, which Hannah loves and some cake. Since we went in on the bike with the grandparents, we didn't get her another gift, but she got a Princess ball, jumprope, Princess dress up accessories, and a princess song book with music in it from Josh and Dani. She was VERY excited to get more presents!
After dinner, cake, and gifts, we were planning on taking the girls to the park to play and ride their bikes. But we realized it was getting later than we had planned and decided instead to go to a family fun center called PoJo's. (It's got arcade games and things for kids to do. You get tokens and can choose prizes when you're done playing like at Peter Piper Pizza or ChuckECheeses'). Anyhow, the girls had a blast, though I think Josh and Jason had more fun with the token and games...I kept having to track Jason down to take HANNAH'S tokens back from him so that Hannah could play what she wanted. ...*boys*...
Hannah definitely had fun and we were glad to see her so happy on her birthday.
Photos from her day:
Jason's attempt at using icing gel to write "Happy Birthday, Hannah." Next time, I think I'll do it. haha
Listening to the happy birthday song.
She didn't want to blow the candles out by herself, so daddy helped her out.
Anticipating what is inside the bag!
Overjoyed to have new princess accessories!!!!
Hannah and her cousin, Lorissa, checking out her new princess song book and "i-pod."
Having a grand 'ole time on the Carousel. She rode it a couple of times and was all smiles every time.
The girls found a photo booth and hopped in. We put tokens in for the pictures, and this is what turned out.
